I think that Spyderco SHOULD make a folder with a 6 inch blade...A Spyderco version of the Cold Steel Vaquero Grande.
But, I'm not going to stand on one leg while waiting for it to happen...

Hi Sven,
We showed a "concept model" at the SHOT show with a 5" blade. There was some interest from those that "like" big knives.
We'll show it again in a few more shows before deciding if we should make a run.

Sal,
Great to hear!
Now, was the concept more Native Chief or Yojumbo?

Is it possible to see a few pics?

Just checked the exhibitors list for the Knife Expo 2004 in Buena, CA., but did not see Spyderco on the list, too bad. Looks to be a sizable show.
