I think the Micheal Walker has some studs/screws that is too much visible. The Centofante is quite nice but maybe not exactly my type. The Cricket another of my old favourites that's still on the list.rodloos wrote:Besides the already-mentioned Michael Walker in CF/ZDP (discontinued but wonderful if you can find it) and Bradley Air, you might also consider the Centofante Memory. Very nice-looking and shouldn't be too heavy.
Several of the models have also been issued as Nishijin glass-fiber sprint runs, which I find very appealing - consider the small Chinese Lum. There was also a Nishijin/ZDP-189 Dragonfly which you should be able to find, and the Dragonfly is truly a wonderful "little big knife". Smaller but unique, there is also a blue Nishijin Cricket.

The Kiwi 4 is striking and highly functional. It would definitely generate conversation.
You could source wood or other decorative scales...

I showed my wife this thread to show her what a great forum this is, and how helpful you are.
She was surprisingly reserved though, but it took little time to find out why.
I wonder what Santa will bring me this Christmas. :-)
