3,000 and counting...

#1

Post by SpyderNut »

Well it looks like this post officially marks my 3,000 post here in SpyderLand. Not nearly as many as some folks, but not too shabby either. ;) I suppose I might have had more posts/contributions by now had I not gone AWOL from around '05 to '10. (In short, my absence was due to college, marriage, buying a house, bills, bills, and more bills--so I guess I found it less tempting not to be around knives for awhile :o ).

I consider myself very fortunate to be the the company of so many caring, like-minded individuals. You guys and gals are a pretty awesome group, you know that? :)

Ah well. Just a few sappy thoughts for your Sunday evening. ;)

All the best,

Michael

Congrats on your 3K Michael, mine was not so long ago and it appears I am creeping up on another milestone.

Greetings and congratulations to one of Spyderville's long time citizens. It's been a while since I crossed 3000 but I do remember it being a memorable occasion needless to say.

Hope you'll be around for many years to come and I do hope you will be reporting 4000 very soon.

It does my soul good to see a fellow Spyder Brethren out of that Sept 2004 column with good news>> it's truly a special group of Spyder Brethren

I always choose quality over quantity. Too bad I can't say mine are all quality ;)

Thank you much for the kind words, fellow Spyder-brothers. :) I promise I won't be going AWOL anytime soon. ;) As David pointed out about quality vs. quantity, a lot of my posts probably wouldn't fall under the "quality" bracket, but at least I try to bring a bit of levity to the place. :p

Cheers!

Congrats, no small feat for sure, probably doesn't mean much coming from a new guy around here, hopefully I will get that warm fuzzy feeling that keeps me coming back for years like yourself.

It does mean a lot, Dan. :) Appreciate the comments. And yes, I do believe that "warm fuzzy feeling" will keep you here for a long, long time! :D

Why thank you, 'Rigger. I had hoped my cheesy brand of humor wasn't too stale! :p
