BLADE Presents The Best of Spyderco

#1

Post by coffeeman »

I just received an email from Blade Magazine indicating they have a special Download available.
BLADE Presents The Best of Spyderco spans more than 30 years worth of knife journalism, and is filled with reports, features and how-to tips regarding one of the world's most popular knife companies. This digital download is also filled with striking color and black and white photos of the renowned Spyderco knives, displaying the form and function of many of the sizes and blade types the company offers. If you are a Spyderco aficionado or just get a kick out of one of the most useful lines of lock blades ever conceived, then this download is for you.
Price: $9.99
I was surprised not to see this on the Spyderco site, unless I missed it posting a while ago.
Thought I would share the good news. I would rather give Spyderco the money instead of Blade, even though Blade Magazine is tops.

Thanks for sharing that, Coffeman. That certainly sounds interesting (although I'm not sure there are any Spyderco "aficionados" here :p ). Any chance you could post a link to this?

The e-book/magazine format generally leaves me cold but this does interest me. I wish there was a more detailed description of the content or some sort of preview feature. Absent that I think I'll have to wait and see impressions from someone else first.

Says it's a PDF so Adobe Reader or some PDF reader program would be the easiest way. Same format that the Spyderco catalog downloads are in.

Let me paraphrase what I believe will be in the article and save you all some money.

Millie. Article complete, have a nice day.
On my radar: 110V Military, Police 4 and some sweet Rex 45 Military action.

Newest Spydies: S90v Ti Military, Pacific Salt and a special Kiwi.

I bought it. It's 101 pages of reprints of articles about Spyderco and its knives, compiled from years of Blade magazine. If you don't already have a stack of Blade magazines to dig through, it's well worth the price of about two issues to get a bunch of history.

Stay safe,

Mike
