Spyderco Question

#1

Post by JMC »

Hello all, I recently worked a trade for a Ti Salsa. Great knife. Anyway there is a number engraved on the blade, can someone tell me what the number might mean?

Thanks, Joel

Spydies are numbered for the collectors. (Each collector has it's own number)
So yours probably belonged to a collector who sold it.

Joel, to my recollection the first 1000 pieces of a new model are engraved. If you have a Spydie with a number and a V after it, it means that it is a variation of that model. (For instance, my SS Cricket SE is #186V.)
