How are the miles for skinning and gutting deer? I'm in market for a forever fixed blade for deer. I'd like it to be spyderco

There have been illustrated threads here showing that it works very well. The thread I'm thinking of most specifically was started by xavierdoc.

Halpern, Any chance for the carbon scales to be milled with the textured side out and the smooth side on the inside? Just like the carbon on the Manix XL.

Yes we can do that. The next time we make carbon we'll make some like that. How much of an interest do you think there would be?

I think there would be a lot of interest in peelply carbon fiber.

Has anyone mentioned where this PSF27 mule is made? I'm betting Taiwan, since that's where the Bradley Bowie is made. We'll find out soon :D

Also it looks like it's a Taiwan knife. Going to the catalog and clicking on Taiwan brings it up

Taichung Taiwan. Here is a pic. Blade looks the same as expected. Not the best pics but I'm at work so I have a excuse. :)
