How big was the photo? If it's anywhere close to the requirement, it would be simple to upscale in Photoshop, which I can certainly do for you.

Wouldn't that wash out the resolution? It needs to be 3450 x 2700 pixels and 300 dpi, and it's 2896 x 1944 pixels at 300 dpi.

Nah, that's an easy upscale. The algorithms they use are quite good. I'll PM you my email if you want me to give it a go. It'll also need a little cropping to get to the right aspect ratio.

Yeah sure...I'd rather submit it than the one I have submitted (And thanks by the way...I don't have PhotoShop software).

That is a sweet photo, if only the resolution and size were up to par! I think you need to attempt a remake!
So many spydies, not enough pockets.

Man, here are some awfully nice "fails" in here!!

This is one that is very similar to my entry. I much prefer how this one shows the tasman in relation to the snapper teeth, which was the whole point of the photo, but I didn't like the lighting as much in this one. I am still very torn over which one I should use so any opinions are welcome.

Great entries everyone. I will want one of these calendars for sure!

Gringo, I like it a lot. Cool effect with the jaw. I think you're right about the lighting, though. The ropes and lure are nice and bright in the first one.
- best wishes, Jazz.

I agree Lance. This ties well to the "all God's creatures have claws" theme from the Spydie days of old.

I've been working on this one for a while now but in the end decided it was too "dark" for the calendar. The part in the rules that says "anything that Disney would turn down so would we" kinda scared me off a little. I don't think it's inappropriate, but probably still too dark/serious.

The challenge with this pic is that it was taken in a completely dark room with no flash or outside light source other than candles, and with a 10 year old point and shoot. Obviously had October/Halloween in mind.
