Either a Chinook or a Renegade with bronzed Ti bolsters, a "Vulcan finish" on the blade, and Thunderstorm kevlar scales. Wouldn't mind pin construction.

Or a plainedge police with a pistol grip checkering texture on Ti handles.

VG10 or M390 Caly 3 with both orange and black FRN scales as options using either the traditional volcano style or the style on the pingo for the scales.

Karahawk, solid retention ring, brake with jimping on backside of ring, jimping on blade thumb ramp, more prominent finger choil at the base of ring, FFG, and have an H1 version as well as a VG10 one. Oh and a Fixed blade model with a longer blade, kydex sheath with a teklok. Or an Endura 4 with Emerson wave and G10 scales.

Sal already made my dream knife when he created the Manix 2 LW S110V. ;)

But now, I'd like that same knife in CF. We consumers are never satisfied. :D
My Spydies:
6 Manix 2 [blk/blk S30V, blk/blk XL, blue Sprint, blue LW, S110V LW, S90V CF XL]; 2 Delicas [VG10, Super Blue]; 4 Dragonflies [Tatoo, VG10, ZDP-189/Nishijin, Super Blue]; 4 Natives [S30V, Brn CTS-XHP, G10 S35N, Forum S110V]; 2 Chaparrals [Stepped Ti, CF]; 3 PM2s [blk/blk, blk/red Putnam, GRN CTS-204P sprint]; 1 CF bolt-action Sage; 1 Air; 1 Super Blue Manbug; 1 blk H1/blk frn Pacific Salt; 2 Stretch [Super Blue, ZDP-189]; 2 Enduras [VG10, blue jigged bone Damascus]

I'll play.
Native Chief built the same as prototype (as in blade grind)
Some form of Carbon steel as in D2
Updated Native 5 pivot and construction
Foliage green G10 scales or maybe natural G10 or any shade of Dark green.
I believe it would be about the perfect knife in looks and function for me.

I would take the full size dyad and replace the serrated blade with a saw blade. I would make the saw blade without a hole or at least without a thumb ramp so the knife would be comfortable in hand and so the saw could easily be distinguished from the knife. I would also probably turn the saw around so it shares it's pivot with the blade since it would not be one hand opening anyway.

I might do the same thing with the dyad jr and make it a salt. Not sure if a h1 saw blade is feasible or not though.

Lots of neat ideas. My preferred "wish" knife however would be this. In Super Blue although VG-10 would work. 2mm thick, HG, 3-3/4 blade. It's fun to play with ideas and dream :)

It does. It's pretty impressive. It would be a scary cutter.

It's the result of ideas thrown at me me from another thread. I only tried to incorporate some of them and get close to making it workable :) A modified Delica, maybe Endura now  Still needs modification to make it really work, changes in pivot points and cutouts. The project has been a good tool to promote thought :)

Enjoyable to read of others ideas in this thread also :) Blade material can be a fascinating topic, blade shapes also :) Sincere thought is always a good thing :)

Absolutely agree with this 100%. I also wouldn't mind more knives with very shallow bellies like the Delica. I just don't have any use for up swept tips.

The Para 2 is almost perfect for me but I'd have the blade less pointy. I love the shape of the blade on the foundary so I would have to combine these.

The honest answer is a regular disposable razor blade system, except Spyderco would make those beautiful, thin, incredibly inexpensive wharncliffe blades out of all sorts of exotic alloys, and tell you to sharpen them instead of throwing them away.

The traditional answer is a 4.5" Military with a wharncliffe blade.

The closest thing that's actually happening is the K2.
