They beat you to that. It's called the Pacific Salt and I highly recommend picking one up! :)

And as far as the blade shape Sal, I think a HAWKBILL makes more sense than anything. Given the swicks diminutive size and handle angle this knife looks like it was MADE for a hawkbill. And having the leverage of the finger hole for pull cuts?! Please! HB swick could make an absolute beast of a cutter! Would make a great secondary boat/fishing knife and would probably appeal to others as a utility and or sd knife.

A spyderhawk return or the swick would be nice on H1 and don't forget the manbug hawkbill, I love the ladybug hawkbill H1 and would really love a manbug hawkbill H1

It would be nice (since it would be in h1) to see both pe and se offered in the run.
Maybe someone smarter than me should set up a poll thread (with a different thread title! :) ) so we can see where everyone stands on this. Any volunteers?

Yes on the hawkbill. Offer both SE and PE and I'll "need" a matching set.

Extra thanks if you do it in H1. ...

Everyone's such a fan of hawksbills. ... It has never caught on with me. I abhor the thought of sharpening one of those.

Simple as can be on the sharpmaker. Even keeping a serrated HB sharp is a piece of cake. A hawkbill isn't good for everything, but what it's good at, it's really good at. A small HB makes for a great secondary knife.

Because of the hollow grind, I would most definitely support a PE or Se "Swick-bill". It would be close to the tasman blade in size I would guess. This is an exciting prospect.
