I posted this pic over in the Show your User Sprints thread, but it works here too! It would still slice the receipt paper after going through the carpet, which had been outside collecting dust/ash for a couple of years.

And Ankerson just had his S110V mule RC tested and it came back at 60, so it's pretty good for a production blade.

So uhh...not sure how I missed all the news on this knife. Can someone clarify?

1. Peel ply carbon fiber or a different kind of carbon fiber?
2. Sprint run or regular production?
3. Available this year?

I don't know if any of this is 100% certain, but here goes...

1. Peel-ply
2. Regular production, but perhaps limited quantities like the fluted ti models
3. Was originally slated for last fall, so hopefully soon. It is probably a good sign the regular g10 Natives are hitting the shelves again.

Someone in the forums said they have a preorder from GP (I do too) and he asked them a ballpark estimate and they said May this year... But who really knows.

I keep asking the same question, but have heard absolutely nothing from Golden about these. Sal, please, any news? Thanks!

I had a one year-old plus pre-order from GP for one but canceled it last week. With no news on it month after month, I didn't want to be surprised financially by it just magically appearing one day out of the blue. Hopefully I can still find one when they come out (if Roman doesn't buy them all ;) ).

Sal!!??!!

I honestly can't remember, I think they were regular production.

So I've checked with the distributor I ordered this knife from and this was their reply:
Hello,

As far as we are aware Spyderco says they will be releasing this item. Unfortunately, they have also not released a date for the item either.

Thank you

Kristin
I replied and asked when she last checked with Spyderco on this particular knife. I sure would like to know if these are shipping or if they are not...

I gifted my production N5 to a friend.I am waiting on this one to replace the one I gifted and to EDC.If I remember correctly it is supposed to be a limited production. That may change with the release of the Manix 2 dark blue LW and the transition of S110V into Spyderco's regular production lineup.

No, this is regular production. That doesn't mean they will be plentiful, but it's not a limited/sprint/exclusive knife.

If they are "trickling in" shouldn't that mean that they are "trickling out"? I don't see it listed anywhere and have yet to see a picture of this blade.
