Motor Trend's show Roadkill is what Top Gear USA SHOULD have been. BBC Top Gear is an AMAZING show and I've seen every episode more times than you could shake a stick at. The only problem with BBC America and BBC Canada is that they put Top Gear in a 60 minute block, which coupled with 16-18 minutes of commercials, equates to 42-44 minutes of the episode. It's shown in the UK in a 60 minute block without commercials, and some episodes go a little long...sometimes up to 67 minutes. Same problem with watching it on Netflix...not as bad, but you're still only watching part of the episodes and it pisses me off. 42-44 minutes of a 67 minute program isn't good enough...they should put it in a 90 minute block if they want to include commercials. I know I'm not the only one who gets pissed off by this (At least 3 of my friends are in agreement with my rant)...I'll watch it off my computer's hard drive instead.

Well...I WASN'T PISSED until you informed me that I'm missing out on about 25% of the show...

I was perfectly happy living in ignorance in my fool's paradise, so thanks mate!

Just kidding Rigger...no worries :p

But I should have known it was like that on BBC America...just never occurred to me... :(

It might be the whole thing as I've never watched it on BBC America, but I'm pretty sure they show commercials, and if it's a 60 minute block you're missing out. Netflix is better, but I've loaded some of the episodes on Netflix and compared their duration with the whole versions as shown on BBC and they're still shorter. You can always go to YouTube and watch Roadkill on Motor Trend's YouTube channel. It's my second favourite car show, and the quality of the show gets better and better. Top Gear has been around for a long time now (2002 in it's current iteration), and I can't see them going for much longer without having to reinvent it to some degree or stop altogether (That and JC and JM are definitely showing their age these days). Roadkill definitely fills some of the space, and in many ways is just as funny.
