Cara Cara lost in dirt for 10 monthss, then found
I purchased this knife June 9, 2013. Within two weeks I gave it to my 9 year old boy. He lost it within a week. It was found last week out near a barn on our property by my 5 year old girl...So almost 10 months out in an area that gets some truck/tractor traffic, it hardly had any rust. Whatever there was he easily sanded off, and just a small amount of pitting was evidenced. Little soap and water on handle and oiled pivot, very smooth.

I'll pass along the metal polish information to him...and let him know your concerns!!! He's out in the woods with an 18 inch machete now though!! :)araneae wrote:Hit it with some flitz metal polish and it will look better. That's a lot of knife for a 9 year old.
