By far, my best impulse buy was when I got my Military (CF M390). I always though it was just too big - way too big, but after getting it and using it, I am sold on it!

My worst impulse buy was the Spyderco Assist. It just did not feel good in hand to me at all. I returned it the very next day.

My latest impulse buy, was the Spyderco SuperHawk that I just got in the mail today. It feels like more substancial than my PM2 (CTS-20CP), but a little smaller than my Military. I am very impressed it it, and of course will carry it as my main/EDC blade in the short term to see how I like it in actual use.

A wise choice IMO. It has been my constant carry for over 2 years now. 600 plus rounds a no malfunctions to speak of other than a few cheap magazine followers.

Cameron, please stop posting pics of your Manix 2's. I can't afford any more "want" right now, lol.

We can't help it.

Best impulse buy of mine was when I decided to get both a Microtech DOC and Superblue Endura yesterday. The clerk was kind enough to give me a $40 discount on the Endura.

When he rang me up I did a double-take.

I'm fighting to urge to go back and buy 1 more of each SB sprint.

Resistance is futile, you will eventually give in to full Manix-obsession!

Oh snap!

I guess it's only a matter of time ;)

Wonder if/when/what the next Manix sprint will be.

I was just sharing friendly information. RadioactiveSpyder is twisting the knife in the open wound.

Sorry Landon, there's crack in them thar handles!

Apophis, maybe it will be the CPM 154/S90V Manix and Manix XL, along with the Native 5 with that steel. Plus the awesome S110V lightweight midnight blue Manix. Anyone else know?

Xceptnl,

In your pic, the XHP sprint looks 100% gray. Is that just a trick of the light? I assume it is the same foliage green that Cameron posted?
