Spyderco Clipitools
I noticed these are now for sale by a few sellers. Just ordered the bottle opener version. I am stoked. Anyone else grab one yet?

I'm going to pick up the bottle opener and SE models. I never found a pressing use for scissors on a knife. The blade will do 99% of the things those tiny scissors will do.
I am mostly excited to get a small Spydie with a pocket clip. I would love to see these clips make their way to a Manbug or Kiwi 3.

I would love to see smaller clips on all knives. I love comparison pics. They do so much more for me than trying to interpret specs. I picked this Clipitool up today and felt obliged to provide an "in-the-wild" shot or three. This is my first Chinese made variant. So far I'm impressed.
It is ever so slightly larger than the ladybug, though I have to admit, until holding both simultaneously I felt the the Clipitool was much larger. I believe the thickness of the clip makes it appear and feel much larger than it will without. Though I like the clip, I like it for its cuteness. I don't think I'd ever clip a knife this size to a pocket. I'll be removing the clip soon and adding this tool to a spare set of keys.
The blade shape is man-bugish, which I like. I like the choil too, though on a blade this small it is almost unnoticeable in the hand.
I really dig the shape of the scissors. Closed, they provide great ergos when using the knife blade. While using the scissors, an additional choil is formed. They are far easier to use and far more comfortable in the hand as scissors than a SAK Classic. My oldest son said the tool looks like a "snapping turtle" while cutting with the scissors. I tend to agree.
I was anticipating a more SAK Classic thickness. The clip takes this feel away. I really hope removing the clip makes it feel thin like the ladybug or SAK Classic.
I wanted an Opener Clipitool, but this was all they had in, so I got it and am glad I did. Another nice job done by the folks at Spyderco!

Very cool looking, they seem to be full of Manbug DNA versus Ladybug DNA! I'd recognize that blade shape anywhere! Now who's going to hazard a guess about maybe swapping a Manbug blade into it? I'm sure the other item (scissor, etc) requires some special action in the pivot, but hey we're a crafty bunch

Love it. Love the choil. Wish the manbug had one. Great snap to the blade, very sharp. F+F cant be beat for the price. Only thing I dislike so far is that it seems fairly stiff to open. I cant open it slowly with my thumb. I am sure it will break it over time and/or could use a drop of oil. Very comfortable in the hand with either primary/secondary open

I just got the bottle opener version included in a box with some other Spyderco goodness. Two quick comments - this is probably the only size knife that I need a lanyard hole on - so I can attach it to my key chain. Adding a pocket clip pushed the lanyard hole forward. The position is not as good, in my opinion, as the hole on the Ladybug (see the pictures posted above). The small NiteIze S-biner doesn't fit through the lanyard hole like it does on the Ladybug either.
I'm going to give it a go on my key chain but I am thinking that the weight, the way it hangs of my key chain, the 8alphabet steel (I know, there is nothing wrong with it) and the stainless scales will result in it not kicking a Ladybug off my key chain permanently. I will however be getting a whole lot more in the future because they are going to be such cool gifts!!
