Phones are synced to the international clock. They can't be off by much. The orders will be filled in the order they are received, not the order they were sent. Just because you sent it first doesn't mean they got it first. That variable is beyond our control and makes it a bit of a lottery if enough messages were sent in the same minute or less. Like I said, I did all I could. I was camping in a rainforest when the first release happened so if I don't get one this time I guess it wasn't meant to be. Still feeling optimistic though.

I sent one right at 0900 MST according to my phone, heard back an hour and forty or so minutes later asking for payment info and it was taken care of quickly after that. For what it's worth, shipping was free for this knife.

I just fired an email off at 1:08 AM Central (2.21.14). So, we'll see how that turns out for me! I was able to get in on MT18, so this would be a bonus!

A limited edition Spyderco in a unique steel with distinctive scales, and the name of this awesome forum on the blade? Worth every penny to me. I bought two when they first came out and never regretted it.

I thought it was a great deal, and apparently a lot of other people do to since they sell out.

At $149 it really is a great deal for what you get...

Standard version is $120. For $30 more you get S110v  , not only that you get a unique green G10 pattern and the designation of it being a forum knife. Find me an S110v folder for anywhere in the ballpark of $200, I'll wait :)

Has anybody else gotten a response from SFO since Thursday evening on this? Are they going to just leave us hanging if they are sold out? I was hoping that Friday I might have heard something.

New here. Lefty (need ambidextrous). Irish (love green G-10). Prefer a sturdy small knife with great steel. No idea best way to look to trade or buy a Native 5 forum knife. Would appreciate any help on where to go, other than ebay. Not sure how to approach this without paying too much. Thank you to anyone kind enough to guide me.

You might try the exchange forums or threads at bladeforums.com and EDCforum.com. Wish I knew more about this. Maybe somebody will chime in with more possibilities.
