Let's Play a Game. Identify The Clipped Spydie

#1

Post by Rwb1500 »

Since we had so much fun with "I'll see your Spyderco and raise you" I thought another game was in order.

The rules are pretty straightforward. Post one picture of a knife clipped to a pocket (Or elsewhere I suppose). First person to correctly identify the clipped knife gets to go next. If the winner can't post pictures or doesn't want to please say so and the next poster can have it. Let's do a 12 hour time limit. If no one has guessed correctly in 12 hours anyone can post a new picture. Also, if someone correctly answers a and doesn't post a pic anyone can post after 12 hours.

I'll start.

Enjoy your edges folks:)

I already played in the pocket thread, but I will play again and either be twice right or twice wrong.
That looks like the Micarta Caly Jr.
My x-ray vision is not functioning properly today so I don't know if it is PE or SE

Got me. I didn't think about the whole blade variety thing. Or different knives with identical handles.

Oh well, your turn then.

Good deal. I'll play. The one in my back pocket is the object of this round. Ignore the other knife

OK, this is cheating. Here's pictures of two Spydies with aftermarket lo-rider clips from STR. The whole purpose of changing the clips was to make them more discrete. Any guesses? I bet the second one is pretty identifiable still...

I think you cut in line Ted. ;) But I'll guess yours anyway.

Top one I'm going to guess Para 2 since you have a whole pile of them. Bottom, with the twill CF and proud liners I've gotta say is the Gayle Bradley.

Correct Kyle. The play goes to you, and I believe you are already ahead in the game.

I believe that is the Chokwe jabba.

Someone else can go, as every time I try to upload an image the file size is too large. Would have been a carbon fiber S90V XL Manix 2.

I'm gonna guess a Chaparral. Since it's the only wire clip Spydie I remember from the other thread

Not a Chaparral. Is my pic angle cheating or challenging?
