 I honestly can't remember ever using two hands to close my pacific salt. Often I've got a rod or fish in the other hand. That's actually one of the things I love about the knife is the ease and security of one handed opening and closing. When my hands are wet and slippery I can (one hand) close a back lock much more securely (meaning with less chance of it slipping from my hand) than say a compression lock.Alchemy1 wrote:It is just unnatural to me. I would like to see more offerings in m4

Where do I join this club? I'd love to see more carbon steel offerings. I love my superblue, and I'm saving up for an Air because nobody got one for me for my birthday.

I'd like to see a regular production Millie in M4, with foliage green, ranger green, or olive drab, or even coyote scales.
I would love to see a Manix2-XL, another regular Manix2, or a Yojimbo2 in M4 as well.
I would probably not be able to resist a Szabo with an M4 blade... but I'd get more use out of one of the above.
As for the Caly, are there any Japanese-made Spydies with American-made steel?

I would HIGHLY suggest looking into a Native. Any well-designed backlock, especially one with a choil, can be closed and opened with one hand.Alchemy1 wrote:It is just unnatural to me. I had one and sold it. One of the s110v versions. I just can't get used to them. Trust me, I'd love to have a dragonfly or something similar for light tasks or when surrounded by sheeple. I'm just too used to frame locks, primarily, and liner locks. I can manipulate both of those types like nobody's business, but I'm clumsy with the lock back.RealKnifeUser wrote:I would HIGHLY suggest looking into a Native. I have a limited sprint run Military in M-4. :) :) :)
One of my all time favorite knives. I'd like to see M-4 become the "standard" for the Military. :spyder: :spyder:
I have a Mule Team in M-4 as well. A "Loveless classic drop point hunter" :) in M-4, four to five inch blade, with Rosewood scales would really be "da bomb, baby."
