Rust problem

I have noticed a spot of rust or two on the blade of my FRN Endura. One of the spots is in the engraving, and the other is where the edge stops on the blade. Any ideas as to how I can get this off? Could I work some metal polish into the engraving with a toothbrush, say?

Hi Neophyte. I would begin with a pencil eraser. If that didn't work, then I'd try an oil or rust remover with a small brush.
