Street price is about $85ish. I haven't been pricing the standard Manix 2's for a while, but it seems $10 more expensive.

Not only more work on the blade, but the skeletonized liners that I know you're familiar with.

Thanks to the OP for the great pictures, this knife is now on my definitely must buy list! The ONLY reason I haven't bought a Manix 2, and why I so seriously considered the XL version, was that the Manix 2 was not FFG. Problem now solved! :D

Thank you Sal, for always working for your end line users, especially when it comes to making knives FFG!
oops... er... that's just a fact... er... maybe it's cheaper to skeletonize them if they don't exist :o

Actually I've never held one in hand and forgot they're linerless :)

But I just had a brainstorm or dust devil at least: I'd love to see a sprint run of this knife with a full tumble wash finish like the Techno -- HINT HINT!

I'll bet people would pay $30 or $40 extra for this. I would... maybe tan scales...

FFG, tumbled finish -- and skeletonized liners, please!

That made a noticeable difference in the weight of the XL when it was skeletonized.

Skeletonized liners or no? We seem to be getting conflicting opinions here. I wonder if it's a rolling change and there are some that are between the switch that have FFG and non-skeletonized liners?

So it looks as though these are just like previous FFG Manix2 sprint runs as far as design and construction, except for the tumbled blade? Has anybody seen or heard about any other differences?

The 2014 catalog is wrong. Most (all?) of the Sprint Run Manix 2 knives had skeletonized liners, the Manix 2 XL also has skeletonized liners the "new" 2014 Manix 2 with full flat grind, like the previous versions, does NOT have skeletonized liners. I think that is a mistake as the Manix 2 with FFG and skeltonized liners is what I consider the perfect EDC knife.
