Charity Knives Stolen at SHOT 2014

#1

Post by Pinetreebbs »

Saw this on an FN Forum:

"These special edition Knives with the Operation Hawkeye and Red Circle foundation logos on them were for an auction to benefit those organizations which help The families of the soldiers of fallen special operators and Navy SEALs. Unfortunately they were stolen off of our display table at SHOT show on Friday afternoon. If you can please keep a look out for these particular serial numbers Operation Hawkeye/ RCF -
Serial #s ZT0561 -#7745
ZT0550 -#4805
ZT0200- #10506

Also note that these are the only three in existence so please keep that in mind.

If found, please notify us via Facebook or call 800-325-2891"

The chances of anyone seeing these again any time soon is pretty slim, It would really be great to see the person responsible get caught.

Well, I hope they don't plan on trying to sell them, since the community will no doubt bust them. Hope they stole them for user purposes. F'in thieves.

What evil people to steal at all and especially to steal from a charity.

That is very sad. Hopefully the individual(s) responsible will fess up and return the knives (and face whatever charges that await them). It wouldn't be worth it to have something like that sitting on your conscience...

Apparently a 40th Anniversary Kershaw also turned up missing, so keep an eye out for that as well
