Is there more Cru-Wear coming?

#1

Post by Liquid Cobra »

I'm really enjoying my new Military and it got me thinking about other great Spyderco designs that would be nice in Cru-wear. Of course the Para Military comes to mind as well as the Manix 2. Has anyone heard any news of more Cru-Wear? Do you even want more? In which model?
Most recently acquired: Military 2, Paramilitary 2 Tanto x2, YoJUMBO, Swayback, Siren, DLC Yojimbo 2, Native Chief, Shaman S90V, Para 3 LW, Ikuchi, UKPK, Smock, SUBVERT, Amalgam, Para 3 CTS-XHP, Kapara, Paramilitary 2 M390
Grail Paramilitary 2 M390 X 2! ACHIEVED!!

I'd probably pick up Cru Wear in the PM2, and I'd definitely get it in the Manix 2.

But honestly, there are other steels I'd be more excited about. K390 comes to mind immediately...

I'm not really into larger folders, but I'd be very tempted to try a manix in this steel

currently I own my first military and it happen to be in cpm cru-wear.
love the knife. i have heard that cru wear is really prone to rusting thats why i cover it in balisol every week in order to prevent it from rusting.

but as always this thread is worthless without pics so :

I'd jump on a Cru-Wear PM2 or Native5, but only as a sample to discover its characteristics.
