Spyderco ring

#1

Post by Neophyte »

Dear All,

Was just contemplating upgrading my jewellery collection to include a nice gents signet ring, as well as my wedding ring. It occurred to me that a nice ring with the spyderco bug on it might be fun to wear. Anyone else, or is it just me? One question remains: would it be made in silver, gold or stainless steel??!!

Regards, Neophyte.

Of course, we will also need to satisfy the FRN and G-10 fans. <img src="wink.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

How about making the ring MBC-rated. (A one-finger knuckle duster).

Make it out of titanium, with the "bug" brushed stainless

Titanium!!

One quick thing first- Don't forget about copyright considerations and the fact that Sal & Co. should certainly have the final say over anything like this before it is undertaken.

That being said, www.titaniumcommitment.com is a great place to start. Not only that, my dealings with them lead me to believe that they embrace very much the same values and ethics as Spyderco. In the past, I have emailed artwork to them and received very timely responses as to what they can and cannot do. If you go to their site, you'll see that not only do they have some great stuff, but that they could probably CNC the Spyder (or several!) into a ring. Enjoy the site. They're great folks to deal with.

I've got a stainless ring on right now, laser engraved celtic knotwork. had it for abour 3yrs and love it.

if I could get a Titanium ring with the bug engraved either as a pattern like this celtic one, or just a signet type with a single bug on it, that'd be sweet
