CTS-XHP Native Regrind
I sent my knife to knifemaker Big Chris for a Regrind. I got it back today and I'm super thrilled with it! He maintained a lot of the spine thickness, but thinned the edge out beautifully! I diced up some junk mail and let me tell you, it's a lightsaber now :D
That's just lint on the tip in the second picture, not a crack!

That looks sweet. I really like the fact that he was able to save that small section of swedge to retain the spear point look I love so much about the non-ffg natives.
I had the ffg forum native and I think the blade shape looks a little goofy in the ffg configuration. I ended up selling the forum native to another member, but I am keeping my brown version mostly because I like the looks of the blade with the swedge grind so much more. This is a nice balance of a high performance edge with the look I really like of the swedge grind. Thanks for posting.

Great job ! Even if I love the Native exactly for its spear point blade ; so you're right keeping a small section of it, making a combo of a FFG and spear point blade !
Plain Edge Friendly !

That turned out exceptional. If I didn't already have a native 5 I would be tempted to buy one and have the same regrind performed.

Really like the looks of that with the swedge.
