These are very beautiful and collectible looking knives. It's easy to see that it's a long established tradition. I think it would be a good platform for a lot of different collectible scale types. The expanded bolsters seem to serve as a pretty effective little hilt or choil.
K-390 on hand: Mule Team 17, Police 4 G-10, Endela (burlap micarta), Endela backup, Endura (canvas micarta), Straight Stretch (now blade-swapped with G-10 Stretch), Delica Wharncliffe, Dragonfly Wharncliffe, & Dragonfly Wharncliffe shorty mod
Note to self: Less is more.

Let me just show off my Hungarian folders (originally named "fejesgorbe" = headed-curved (which is refers to the shape of the handle) :)

Jules,
Those are very good looking knives.

Yes, they are. Since getting the Spyderco Hungarian, I've come to really appreciate the look of the fejesgorbe.

Very nice looking knives. I can only wish that Spyderco would keep the same blade shape and grind.

My top choices Natives5, Calys, C83 Persian
