My wife caries a Tattoo Ladybug and a pink mini grip in her purse, but I can't get her to carry a knife in a pocket.
EDC Everything! Our knives are TOOLS, not 'Objects d'art'. A 'Safe Queen' is an implied insult to the designer/manufacturer.

My other half carries a small SAK Alox Classic on her set of keys and she is happy, as she has all on hand what she needs during the day.

This is what happened. I purchased my wife a budget brand fixed blade years ago. Carefully showed her how to use it and she still cuts herself pulling it from the sheath on the first attempt. She seems to be able to manipulate my Jester well so I am on the hunt for a pink Jester or I may settle for a purple Ladybug

My wife's current blade is a SAK Victorinox Classic with an Eidelweiss design we bought in Heidelberg. I'm quite cool with that. Swiss Army knives are great, and she's carrying a knife, isn't she? When we kayak, she has a Spyderco - a Caspian Salt, on her vest. She even shows it off to other kayakers. How cool is that?
