Poll: Most popular EDC
Anthony,
This is wishful thinking, but I love it. Midlock will be fine for me. Compression lock is only the third favorite after midlock and BBL. Actually I would love to see Golden made calys with BBL, caged or not.

It's elementary, my dear addylo...the truth is that only 11.6 % of Spyderco forum posters are enlightened Jedi knights.addylo wrote:I'm surprised to see the Sage series running 7th place. Even the Dragonfly is ahead of it by a few votes.
Sage series
23 votes = 11.56%
The Dragonfly is the perfect EDC knife if you just want a small high quality EDC knife that you don't even notice is in your pocket...whereas the Sage is larger, and far better in everyway than the very, very good-but-small Dragonfly.

I will take any, caged or non caged. I am not sure, if any of them possible considering how narrow Caly is.Holland wrote:non caged bbl caly would be incredible!

This poll is getting super close. Are we going to have a new leader?

yes, we can :) .Holland wrote:We can dream though right?![]()
What is interesting, in the beginning Caly family was a clear leader, with para2 being distant second. Than Paras start to pick-up and than Delica/Endura family. It looks for me that Calys are most popular among most active forum members, but it doesn't matter how much do we love them Delica/Endura are best sellers. Of cause out of three leaders Calys are most expensive and Delica/Endura is the least, which helps.Holland wrote: This poll is getting super close. Are we going to have a new leader?

I voted Delica/Endura as my blue FFG Delica finds its way into my pocket most often. I use either my PM2 or my Green FFG Endura as my primary outdoors blade (although those don't count as EDC for me). I will say, however, that things may be a changing since I received my first Caly 3.5 in the mail on Saturday. That thing is amazing. As the forumite who swayed me to buy it put it, "it's almost a Delica in handle and almost an Endura in blade."

manix series = original manix, original manix mini, manix 2, manix 2 XLeric m. wrote:The Caly series actually represents 2 different blade lengths, whereas all the rest of the knives represent only 1! A distiction should be made between the Caly3 and the Caly 3.5!
delica/endura = same category, different sizes
and all the other options include multiple knives. oh and the caly series includes more than just the 3 and 3.5
