If it had a nested comp lock like the PM2 then I'd be interested. Otherwise not so much. Tried one a few years ago and it was a bit meh (ti version AFAIK)

IMO it wouldn't really be an ATR any longer. I say keep it also.

If they bring it back I bet they won't include the cobra hood, Sal already asked everyone if we wanted the hood on the potential salsa sprint, and if I remember correctly it was an overwhelming no

Agreed. Much like the P'kal in that regard. I'm in. Grey G10 & M4!

What if it were removable?

they are but they leave a big cut out that doesnt look to comfortable. and M4 would be an incredible choice imo!

Ah, okay, thanks brother. I had no idea. Like Blake, I don't own any. But that makes perfect sense.

Most likely I will be interested, especially in case of g10 scales.

Considering that Golden is always up to capacity and latest production been made in Japan, chances for CPM M4 are slim. You will have to settle with SB :) , but I would go with simple VG10.

So what are the chances of this actually happening? I mean, do sprints ever actually start as a thread here on these forums and become reality? If so what are some examples and what needs to happen? I guess there would need to be about 200 pages to this thread lol.
Most recently acquired: Military 2, Paramilitary 2 Tanto x2, YoJUMBO, Swayback, Siren, DLC Yojimbo 2, Native Chief, Shaman S90V, Para 3 LW, Ikuchi, UKPK, Smock, SUBVERT, Amalgam, Para 3 CTS-XHP, Kapara, Paramilitary 2 M390

Quite a few Sprints start as discussions in forum threads, the recent Super Blue releases being just one instance. I think Sal needs to see enough interest before considering adding a Sprint to Spyderco's already tight production schedule.

This is OK as long as we get the rest.
Any chance to make it in Golden with nice Carpenter Steel?

I also missed out on the original. I like the hood, but wouldn't mind omitting it on a sprint.

My main concern with the knife is keeping the weight down. I would propose making it with a Ti lock side and unlined G10 on the other side.

Probably wouldn't be able to make it in Golden for quite a while. Might be able to make it in Seki.

I would most likely buy one of these if they do a sprint.
