My Spyderflys have VG-10 blades and I didn't think they could be made any better. It might be the added G-10 or just the "cool" factor. Not really sure, but in my eyes Spyderflys were perfect when they came out originally.

the coolness and the materials of the knife is just superb, I really want one... but the price is just too much for me...
plus I'm not so much of a fan of songs, since there are a lot of those here... (sourgraping) :)

Plus there's the unavoidable fact that prices have risen. ;)

Steel is turning into spendy stuff. :(

I'm not so sure the new SmallFly has VG-10 blade steel. The description at an online retailer that has it in stock says "Blade Material: 154CM Stainless"

154cm is what I saw too. I am seriously looking into buying one of these.

Spyderco seems to have went all out for this one.

Smallfly is a must have! Just ordered it today. The blade steel isn't VG-10 but I have no problem with 154CM. Thought VG-10 would be sweeter but then there would be no Earth labeling on blade :D . Great :spyder: with reversed S curvature on the blade, G-10, steel liners, and 2 :spyder: holes :p :p ...

These have never appealed to me. I prefer a rounded handle on a butterfly knife, which facilitates spinning in the hand. These look like they'd be uncomfortable to use.

Have you actually seen that thing for real? Then you would know why it is so expensive. Man, it is so **** cool. It is handy light weight and **** beautiful. I would love to get one of these things pretty soon.
