I see we have some metalheads on the forum. Chuck, I would put "Painkiller" as one of the top metal songs of all time. In the 20 years since, Not many bands have topped that song. Death's cover of "Painkiller" was amazing as well (RIP Chuck Schuldiner).

Any fans of Decrepit Birth? Their last two albums are incredible....

Definitely a metal head here, but I do gravitate to the heavier/newer stuff. Painkiller is one of my favorite classic metal albums though, and the only Priest album I really like. I'm pretty open minded with music though, I listen to a little bit of everything except country (unless you count Johnny Cash, but he was never really "country" IMO).

I really only like Painkiller as well. I grew up only listening to metal with "death metal" vocals. I bought the first Black Dahlia Murder album when it came out and that opened me up to higher vocals. That in turn helped me enjoy a lot of other good bands that had screaming type vocalist.
I pretty much listen to everything now.... even country.

Well well stuck in a Born Of Osiris/Rings Of Saturn/August Burns Red rut that I can't seem to get out of. All of those three recent albums are getting a lot of play time.

I'm pretty speechless with this album. The only thing I not totally into is the vocals but I can live with them for the music. It blows my mind that those guys just got out of high school.

About all I listen to are the Big Bands from the 30s-40s.

It don't mean a thing if you ain't got that swing.

Here's another song by Gomez...an older song, music video this time. They're a very underrated band that not a lot of people know about.

My favourite knife song, by one of my favourite artists. Have to promote great talent from a fellow Albertan.
