Wow thanks for the great giveaway! here is my manix 2 lightweight, the knife that made me fall in love with Spyderco. I'm pulling the badges off my moms truck getting ready for a repaint,. Wish me luck its my first attempt.

For the record I was not prying with it, just putting it behind the lettering and cutting the glue.

Thanks for the thread. I love giving knives away. I gave several away the last two months to the guards and maintenance guys here at my condo in Costa Rica. I gave one of the guys a sak and he almost cried...no joke. Hehe. Anyway, I've got a couple of spydies I'm thinking of donating now. A manix and a pm2. They are sitting in a drawer and I'd rather see someone enjoying them. Send that Bradley air this way and ill turn around and give away one of mine. I think it would be really cool to start something like that and see how long we could keep it going! We could even update the thread every time...I dunno, just seemed like a neat idea. Maybe we could actually keep it going long enough that something would make it back to the op! That would be so cool! Just a thought.

This is an awesome idea, you should start a new thread about it.

You're right. I think this idea deserves a separate thread. Let me think on it a bit and see if I can come up with a good way to do it. Sorry op, didn't mean to hijack your gift thread! Carry on. :)

Yikes! I definitely wouldn't use any knife I cared about for that. Next time try a heat gun and a guitar string.

I've seen pay-it-forward threads on other forums where if you're chosen to receive, you have to give. It works great because you don't even play unless you're ready and willing to gift something to the next guy.
