Do you feel the quality of non-US knives is equal to the blades created overseas?

Yes, the quality in Taiwan and Japan is equal or better than the domestically made knifes.

Thank you Senate. I knew it would be a bunch higher but didn't have any percentages or numbers. I have imported knives from Europe and Japan and knew there were going to be more than just transportation fees no matter which way it is going. That isn't even taking money exchanges into consideration. I also know there are a few companies here that are well known for helping customers overseas, and some that aren't.

One well known company is so well liked that in Russia customs is known to disappear any packages coming from that company going to the Moscow area. St. Petersburg addressed packages seem to get through. So I was told by one Moscow collector . :)

Actually a retail price for a s30v Military at a brick and mortar store in the states is about the same. It's no coincidence that many brick and mortar knife stores are going out of business here.
