Blade mods on my Higo. The lanyard looped around the opening lever keeps the knife from opening in the pocket.

You can do a lot with the principal features of the higonokami.
The friction on these friction folders is adjustable. They are comfortable in the pocket. With a little training they are one handed openers.
These have "peelply" textured hunting orange G10 scales and 1/8" A2 steel blades: I carry a black smooth G10 version as EDC; The blade on the larger folder is 2 1/2":
