Sorry Brother. No inside info here. I'm waiting just like everyone else to hear when it gets in and where it's at. It's the pre release routine we usually go through with sprints. :o

I've had one on preorder with KC for awhile, but you know how they are, they sometimes have far more preorders than they can fulfill. At the moment I don't even see it listed on their site anymore.
Which Knife, A or B? get Both! (and C, D and E) :)

It's not listed on their site anymore and shows up as discontinued when you search by part number. KC must have over sold all their pre-orders. Luckily I put mine in 3 months ago

The last thing KC said was something like "3rd quarter" ? That could still mean next spring considering the experience with the green para2, but since there has been some conversation about it by Sal we should expect it to be sooner than that. It could easily be over a month away though.

Alright. We cant have it yet. So lets speculate to keep our minds active: Mule had HT problems, should we worry that this sprint will suffer similarly as its never been done before in CPM version?

Good place to watch is the New Knives section of the Spyderco website. The new things usuallu show up there first before hitting the dealers. Now occasionally they tease us by putting a new one up for a few weeks before they actually release it into the wild (ahem, Domino anyone?). :)

I assume it should be soon as on 8/20/2013 in the BF forum, Sal said "right now, we're getting ready to start shipping a Millie in Cruwear (Joe's model)...." (http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showt ... -Sal/page2).

I don't know if this is much of a strategy, but I just give my email to the dealers that will email you when they arrive and also look for tips on this forum. I'm always afraid to preorder because it seems like putting all your eggs in one basket. If they sell out before they get to your name, everybody else may be sold out too... You could preorder and then buy one from another dealer who emailed you when they got some in, and cancel your preorder. But you might wind up with two knives (maybe not bad in this case) or PO the dealer you cancel with.
K-390 on hand: Mule Team 17, Police 4 G-10, Endela (burlap micarta), Endela backup, Endura (canvas micarta), Straight Stretch (now blade-swapped with G-10 Stretch), Delica Wharncliffe, Dragonfly Wharncliffe, & Dragonfly Wharncliffe shorty mod
Note to self: Less is more.
