Flea Market Walker

Sorry, I borrowed the picture, but I just picked one of these up at the flea market. Like new w/o box for $30. Did I get taken? Just hard to pass it up.

Hey Opaul,
I think you got a great deal.
Would love to find one of those for twice that price!
Good find!
Later,
Don

Heck no, you didn't get taken. :) I'd say that's a really decent price for a LNIB Walker. It's funny, but I just purchased a NIB CE Walker similar to yours for $76 off of the 'Bay. And here I thought that $76 was a good deal. Ha! Congrats on the new blade, Opaul!

Is $30 a bad deal for any Spyderco in decent shape? :-)

My Flea Mkt. dealer has approx. 3000 knives enough that his show. cases fill the back of a Ford F250 all the way to the top of camper shell on the truck. He has dealing in knives since the early seventies and has contacts all over the country. If he doesn'r have what I want he can usually have it in the next weekend.

RanCo, sounds like you've found a pretty good source :) . Flea Markets I've been to around here tend to have lots of Pakistan-made knives of unkown metal (don't even know if I'd call it steel :) ). Nice to find the occasional gem though, maybe I need to spend more time at flea markets.
Which Knife, A or B? get Both! (and C, D and E) :)

The one I'm refering to is The West Georgia Flea Market at exit 11 off I-20 five minutes from the interstate near Carrollton, Georgia. If you're ever this way you'll have to check it out one Saturday or Sunday. There are two or three big dealers who specialize mostly in Case knives but have a little bit of everything including Spyderco. They will usually buy, sell or trade so the first thing I ask is what have you trsded for this week. Got an original Gerber Paul Knife a while back from the seventies for forty dollears that was going for two seventy on ebay and many other unbelievable deals.
