Awesome job senor! Was it any more difficult then the steels You've reprofiled?

Thanks guys. It took a little more work than M390 or M4, but not too much. I used an Atoma 140 grit diamond plate to do bulk of the reprofile work which helped it go a little quicker.

This steel takes a wickedly sharp edge. I was getting kind of giddy push cutting phone book paper like it wasn't even there. :D

Here's a pic of my Breeden Rescue. There is still a small hitch in the blade, but I didn't want to remove that much steel when the rest was sharp. It will be gone next time I use the stones.

The belt attachment is off a China grinda, :p . The angle on the native is probably about 11 dps took 25 minutes

Wish I had better photography skills! It really is a nice mirrored edge. 20 deg each side on the wicked edge and progressed through grits: 100,200,400,600,800,1000, 1200, 1600, and stropped with 5, 3.5, 1, and 0.5 micron paste.
