Beer and Caly 3.5" Super Blue

#1

Post by KiwiBird »

I love my Caly 3.5 Super Blue and use it quite a bit.

Grabbed a 18 pack of Tecate and went to cut a quick access opening in the cardboard box.

Didn't faze the SB at all as it sliced through a beer can on the way to making the opening.

I didn't even realise until the beer started to leak out.

No visible damage to blade edge, still shaves hair and cuts limes just fine.

Any chance of a SB blade coming to Golden made knives? PM2 please. :)

It would probably be easier to urge Spyderco for a hard heat-treat of 1095 or O-1. It would certainly be cheaper as they would have to buy a ton of SB and have it shipped over.

How about a Tenacious in 52100? I'd get one of those fast. :)
