Other than the orange scales, which I'm not all that fond of, what makes this a sprint run? Since it came with the standard S30V steel that every other Millie uses I don't see anything special about it...

I was very fortunate, in that when I first started thinking about getting a military, the 2nd run of orange had just been released not too long before. I wasn't too much into orange, but decided to try it since so many people seemed to love their orange knives.

My 2nd orange millie I just bought this year - I wasn't really looking for one because I had quite a few millies by now :) but I happened to see one for sale on another forum, so I bought a "spare". And of course I now have quite a few other knives in orange too. :D

Whatever the reason, anything in orange seems to sell very well now.
Which Knife, A or B? get Both! (and C, D and E) :)

Here's my orange millie along with an optional accessory Busse makes for tougher jobs. Good knives if you have large claustrophobic hands.

Orange is my favorite color. Good luck with your search for the Millie! With patience and positive expectation, you'll find one.

Here are my orange Spydies (still need the Dfly and Pingo)

That's an interesting idea. Maybe Elmax or something to make it different from the XHP one.

I also still need a Dragonfly and Pingo. That UKPK is pretty nice looking!

Just a word of caution to anyone looking for an orange Millie. Orange is one of the colors that the fake "Chilitaries" are available in. I haven't handled any of the fakes, but from what I've read on the forums, the black one is very close to the real deal (at least cosmetically) and I assume the orange one is no exception. Thought I'd mention it because people may not be expecting a Millie in this color to potentially be a fake.

OMG!! That's A Lot of orange!

Got a factory 2nd a few years back and carry it all the time. Since I paid so little, it is my beater (but not abused) knife, so it probably gets used the most.

Here's my little Mili collection. The orange was bought from SFO for $140 a few years back. I bought it, an Aqua Salt for $80 and they had a special on for a free Cricket with sales over some amount. An amazing day in Spyderco heaven. I cruise gun shows and paid less than $140 for each of the others. I'm thinking about doing a mix and match for an orange and TI with CTS-XHP blade. They're really too big so I don't carry them, just took them out for the pics.

Decided to save the orange as original and Franken-swap the brown CTS and the TI.

Here's a picture of my orange Military along with some of its family members. In the center is an orange Casio solar atomic GXW-56 "King" watch. Here's the honest truth about these. As much as I love looking at all of them, I can't bring myself to carry (or wear) them in public. It's just doesn't go with my dark clothing. I guess they'll just be conversation pieces or when I'd actually need them in a situation where orange is needed to make them easy to spot or not lose.

Great pic, that's a good dose of vitamin steel! The doc's been called, you need an orange Dragonfly stat! My question to you is though, do you wear that watch in public? If so, then it would be downright criminal not to be carrying one (or more!) of those orange beauties in your pocket!

you sister will repay you with her love. This is much more than any orange. I gifted one of my orange Dodos to my youngest nephew (the only family member, who is interested in knives, beside me), I hope he will remember an old uncle.
Karma will repay you.
