Thanx Much PanChango
Thanx Much PanChango
I got a PM about a week ago by PanChango offering to send me his unused SE Stretch, after reading my thread about having to return mine to SFO because of a defect. I'm not great at showing appreciation over the internet, but once again the kindness of some of the folks on this forum continues to amaze me.
The knife was obviously well used and put to work, but it cleaned up rather nicely and will continue to be used for all it's worth by yours truly.
Thanx Much PanChango

Congrats to you both, PanChango for his super generosity and Evil - you must be glad to have another fine SE to put through it's paces. Report back on how you like it. How's the sunburn BTW, you must be peeling like an onion right now!

Ugh...just mentioning the words "sun" or "sunburn" make me a lil sick to my stomach lol. I'm peeling in some places and still blistered in others.RadioactiveSpyder wrote:Congrats to you both, PanChango for his super generosity and Evil - you must be glad to have another fine SE to put through it's paces. Sorry David, that definitely doesn't sound fun!! You might feel a bit better after a few beers!(?)
Hope the rest of the vacation was worth it (save you losing your Tasman salt ). I especially liked your commentary about your reaction to seeing the ocean. Did Neptune ever come through for you with his trident as trade for your Tasman? If so, pics! :D

Nope, Neptune let me down as did Poseidon, but I did come across an old man poking around with a metal detector and I told him the area I found it in, just in case it did wash up and get buried by sand. He didn't seem too interested though.
