Prayers needed

#1

Post by kbuzbee »

So, we found out a bit ago my brother in law is going to need surgery and radiation for cancer in his head.

Today we found out my wife needs a biopsy to determine whether she has cancer as well. The biopsy is scheduled for Monday.

Any and all prayers are requested from my extended family here.

Thanks folks,

Ken

As a registered nurse and a son of a woman who is a breast cancer survivor I can only begin to say I know what you're going through. The best thing you can do is stay strong for both of them! My thoughts and prayers will be with you and your family.

A few tips:
1.) don't EVER read statistics... they will drive you mad
2.) Dont ever lose hope, keep hope alive. Try to encourage them to stay as active (as the doctor allows) and don't dwell on it.
3.) Always look at the positive. Remind your family to do the same.
4.) Don't act strangely around them, act normal, do normal things

My heart goes out to you along with prayers for the best outcomes!

My life has been touched by cancer and I know what you are going through. The best thing I can say is stay positive and support them. My thoughts are with you.

Good luck, prayers sent, and don't forget that times of stress require extra care on all the family members. Things like extra sleep, healthy food, exercise, and some family time stress relief & relaxation like a night out and a good movie go a long way.

There are usually lots of missed meals, early alarms after late nights, etc. Take care of you and the family too Ken.

Good luck,
