This evening, I was finally able to place a forum Native 5 in my pocket! My first forum knife, and first S110V. I have a couple large cardboard boxes waiting to be reduced to recycling by way of S110V! :D

Urgh, I *only* have Meerkat burgundy, PM2 camo/satin, Manix2 blue lightweight, all three seemed to want to go out today.

I see you didn't put a lower bevel on it yet. You'll love M4 at around 30 edge bevel.

Thanks Alex. It has been used hard and reground, but cuts much better now then new. It is a good knife and could have been a great knife imho.

As an added bonus the hideous logo is almost gone :D

The recurve is great on rope and the flat front part works well for most other cutting.

When the sailing is rough I carry an SE Salt1 as well. (had some corrosion on S30V when being drenched in seawater for hours)

This blade shape could really work for lots of us users. Part hawkbill, part wharcliffe. Always wanted one of those, but that was when I thought a $100 knife was alot..... oh how times change.
