had a good laugh reading your post...
the scorpius was probably the least appealing spyderco to my eyes until i saw that mod! :D

Sure the furniture looks bad, but looks like the blade is still in decent shape. I say salvageable! Count me in :)

I actually kind of want this knife. I've always wanted a Scorpius, and I've always been hesitant to use a knife as a beater (even a cheap Byrd).

However, judging by how terrible aesthetics-wise this knife is, I think I can overcome that problem.
