I remember there was talk about a Byrd version of the folding utility knife that used utility knife blades. Something that actually worked well and had some quality not just the normal home depot/lowes junk that falls apart.

I think it is reasonable that you decide not to make one, but I really haven't seen a reasonable quality one.
Gerber makes a very small one that is very low quality. I have a superknife that has almost no detent.
I would think a larger, full grip one would be nice and a smaller 3 finger grip one would be nicer.
Maybe someone here knows of a good quality version.

Gerber is about the only company that I can think of that meets your criteria. I don't know who owns or manufactures the "Superknife" brand.Donut wrote:Can someone here list a few high quality box cutters or ones made by large knife or equipment companies?
"All your :spyder: are belong to us."

The only problem with Spyderco is that they don't have an easily replaceable blade for people who don't want to or don't know how to sharpen, which would make a less than stellar gift for many people.Officer Gigglez wrote:Just about any Spydie can cut boxes no problem...
