I always carry a full SE knife of one model or another. For quite a while now, it's been my Tasman Salt. I also love my SS Harpy, but carry the Tasman due to its weight. I don't clip it, but carry it down in the pocket like a normal pocketknife. I've kept the clip on, as it aids in gripping it during opening and use; plus, I clip it onto my seatbelt while driving. Serrated Spydie hawkbills are amazing cutting machines. Sure they are specialized, but once you're used to them, you will find many ways they are useful. And if I'm carrying another knife, the Tasman makes a great backup (or main knife!).

I used to EDC one of my C-44 Dyads a lot and I'm looking so forward to the new VG-10 models of the C-44 big Dyad to come out this year. Currently I've been carrying my Spyderhawk H-1 SE a lot and I've also been using my full SE 440V Native some this summer. I usually have one full SE blade on me at all times. And I do find that I need one at least once a day at the very least. But I'm in full agreement with Yablanowitz that the C-44 Dyad is truly one of the top 5 best Spyderco models ever produced>> it's been in my top 3 for the last 6 years or so.yablanowitz wrote:I've had my C-44 Dyad clipped to my right front pocket pretty much every day for five or six years now. It generally comes out teeth first when I go to use it.
Long Live the SPYDEREDGE Spyderco Hawkbills RULE!!
