I carry one everyday along with a plain edge. I use the SE 95% of the time. Just got a new pacific salt in SE and can't put it down.

I've carried and used a D'Allara Rescue quite a bit. It's heavy but a real performer :) .

Yep carry my full SE Pacific Salt and love it! I now understand serrations can be good, as long as they are full blade :)

Tasman salt SE for me. It's a great knife--lightweight, great cutting power, plus a sharp point that works for small precise tasks.

My H1 Ladybug Hawkbill stays on my keys and when my Caly 3.5 or Emersons can't swim...it is my primary. This makes pool season #2 and 2 days in the FL Gulf and nary a rust spot.

I often have my SE Stretch on me. Here's an old pic, it's not nearly so pretty anymore.

Hey Pops, did you see the recent thread about someone who carried SE for a month? It's a pretty nice read.

http://www.spyderco.com/forums/showthre ... Spyderedge

When I know I am going to be working, I like to back pocket carry a full serrated knife. It's usually my lil matriarch. Blue Para and Lil Matriarch as work knives are a tough combo to beat. With the shape of the Lil Matriarch blade, it's tough to dull the whole thing, you can find a sharp section of blade if you really need it.

Been carrying a Tasman SE for 2 weeks now, it does everything I need it to do and the fact I don't have to worry about nicking my precious polished plain edge blades is a relief. I cut lots of string and plastic in a wet and dirty environment, so SE+H1 = WIN...The spyderedge is on a different level than your average serrated edge.

He hasn't been around lately.

As for the OP's question, I used to carry a SE UKPK but now my Sebenza or Rookie has been taking alot of time in my pocket.

I carry one on the farm. Best thing ever from cuttin twine off hay to cuttin rope to cuttin old 4 " straps off my semis. You dont have to worry about them they always work. My dad carry serrated knives in the 90's when we dairied. He even had cut through the steel belt on a tire. I also carry half serrated half plain and find it very handy for the farm.
