Got a thread going on BF also but know there's a few regulars here that don't tread over there.
Here's a few quick ones taken upon arrival.
Paras have been known to get lonely...
Last but not least a quick family photo.

I agree with you two. This is a terrific shade and if we can get a military, we can have a serious green collection going.78lilred wrote:I'd love to see it in a Military also, would definitely buy one.

Man, I thought I was early on the pre-order, paid 3 months ago... and I still don't have any update.
Thanks for sharing. Does the Green one have a smaller handle than the blue one? All of your pictures make it look that way.

Even rougher than the blue? The blue was a bit coarse, wasn't it?phillipsted wrote:Has anyone noticed the slightly different peel ply texture on the green G10? Look at the pictures of the blue and green Paras together. I like the new peel ply texture - it has a very grippy, slightly abrasive feel to it...

Hmmm now that you mention it, I agree about the blue and orange. The brown millie does feel about as coarse to me too. I have a camo millie and a black/satin and a camo para that feels smoother than the orange and blue and the brown millie though.xceptnl wrote:I thought the Orange and Blue had an equal coarse texture. They feel like the militarys, but not as smooth as the Manix 2s.

You peaked my curiosity so I opened the case to discover you are correct. The OD Military and Brown both share the rough texture with the Orange and Blue Para.chuck_roxas45 wrote:Hmmm now that you mention it, I agree about the blue and orange. I really prefer this texture and wonder if a quick sandblast would turn my old smoother G-10 back into a renewed grippy version?

A weird thing about my blue para, one scale has a rough texture and the other has a fine texture.xceptnl wrote:I thought the Orange and Blue had an equal coarse texture. They feel like the militarys, but not as smooth as the Manix 2s.
One difference I've noticed between the green and blue is that the edges of the green PM2 are more rounded, softer if you will, and the edges of the blue para feel sharper in comparison. Not a huge difference but the green is slightly more comfy in the hand.
