Tuff on sale at Amazon

#1

Post by GTP2K1 »

It must of been an old saved search but I got an email notification saying the Tuff was on sale.

http://www.amazon.com/Spyderco-Schlepp- ... derco+Tuff

3rd party seller but still less than I paid for mine. Says they have 11 in stock if youve wanted one now may be the time.

That's a really good price. I've used Outfitter Country before, happy with them.

I never knew the Tuff was a choking hazard, and it contains a marble. Interesting.

For the record, GPKnives has the Tuff for $1 less. Amazon wins with shipping however.

I'm a bit concerned, it says this toy contains a marble and is not suitable for children under 3

I LoL'ed at that too.

Also While Im looking: http://www.amazon.com/Spyderco-Stretch- ... 004VS2LUO/
Less than $95 for a ZDP Stretch in BRG-FRN is the best price Ive personally seen, even if its only about $5-$15 less than usual.

And beware this one: http://www.amazon.com/Spyderco-Stretch- ... 002FSGYNM/
Shows a ZDP/CF Stretch in the pic but it clearly listing a standard Vg-10/FRN model.

I've never seen the Sage 2 that low. With the Ti handles and Taichung construction, it seems unlikely. The Sage 1 and 3 are down near that price point, but not the 2.

Yeah I've pointed out to Amazon before that they have the wrong pic for it, I guess they don't care.

Amazon legally had to add that warning after I accidentally swallowed mine. It hurt going down, but I am not looking forward to its emergence at all.

That ball-bearing detent (marble) really does turn a fun toy into a serious choking hazard for children. That's the good thing about knives with backlocks. Don't have to worry about the kids choking on a marble.

According to the seller, the Ulize (Elise) comes with balloons that can burst, too.

Oh wow that's a bummer. It was on the Sale page along with the South Fork and LionSpy but I guess it got taken off the sales section..
