How about when Jake Gyllenhaal pulls out a partial serrated Smith and Wesson Extreme Ops and calls it a "Spyderco tactical knife" in End of Watch?

Massive eye rolls... came just after he waves a Glock 22 in front of the camera and calls it a "Glock 19" (despite the 22 being a more likely a police issued firearm).

This has probably been said already but,
There was a serrated edge Stainless steel police in the movie Parker. You can't miss it.

does stallone use the same Endura model in both Cliffhanger and Daylight? Pretty cool.

Gotta love the prestige of the SE Police models, too. Whether it's a good guy or a bad guy holding it, it so clearly means business.

Well, from the movie it is obvious that the actor has nothing to do with sharpening.
He is using the rod as if he'd try to pry something out of the serrations of the weapon.

Since it is four in the morning I've decided to watch the clip for all those who don't have the energy. Scott Bakula = Hero

You see it at starting at 3:30. I think the way it was used was mostly for effect.
