What is that backspacer? I thought the Millie has an open construction.

Glad you like em guys, Alex it's the factory spacer with a slot milled in the side to accept the vial out of a glow ring and holes drilled in the top.
It shines like you wouldn't believe in the dark.
Jeff, all I'm waiting on to get yours finished is the ice blue ring from Patrick.
I hope it does take off I've learned the perfect compromise between strength and the amount of holes to drill now.
Brushed aluminuim is gonna look good too and to avoid the stripping problem in the soft metal I think I can just add the factory nuts. Ron

Very nice. I couldn't figure out what people meant by having a glowring inside a Millie, but now I see... Really cool idea...

I did try to buy a glowring for my keychain, but couldn't find one in Canada, they seem to be UK-only thing... Hmmm...

I saw pics about 2yrs back, from NC Blades on BFC... this wasn't my idea to start off, just in case anyone tries to give me credit for the idea.

ofelas> I'm one to spend time in the bush, which means a dropped knife since I don't use lanyards... or moving around the house I don't turn lights on(which was nice having a glowring on my keys to find them) and ussually have a flashlight on me.
I've set a knife down and had to turn lights on the find it, or use a flashlight(in the bush or shed) and search. this way I can look for the glow.
