I really want to jump on this one, but I should probably hold off. Going to blade is putting a dent in the knife funds.

They were at the OKCA, and they look good.

I will wait to see real pictures. I really like original Goddard, but not sure about Goddard with FFG. Not crazy about color of scales either.

It is a very good looking knife and feels great in hand, hard to beat at its price point. I got to admire some at the OKCA show last weekend but had run out of funds or one would have come home with me.

I was actually thinking it was a little steep price wise. VG-10 on an older unlined frn design and it is higher than a stretch. I have admired the old Goddards for a while though so its pretty appealing.

I've wanted this one for years. I respect Mr. Goddards wisdom and designs. I was upset about the FFG until I saw the video. It looks great. I can't wait. It's gonna be in my back pocket a lot. I just noticed I started every sentence with the letter "I".
- best wishes, Jazz.

Keep in mind that this sprint is going to be plain-edged. There aren't that many plain Goddards in the wild right now - most were PS, with a small minority FS. I bet the total plain edged models in circulation total only a couple hundred (although I could be way off on this number - you have any estimates, Deacon?).

I'm pretty excited to have another plain Goddard in the collection!

Picked up my Goddard today. Great feel to this knife. It's also bigger than I expected.
