there is a c41tifp on ebay at the moment.

did i miss the release of this model?

Hard to say for sure. On the one hand, they appear to be a reputable eBay seller. On the other, the picture appears to be a stock illustration, rather than a photo they took, so it's impossible to tell if they actually have the knife. One thing is certain, unless they're personal friends of either Sal or BHO, if they do have it, or know for sure that it's in transit to them, then pretty much every Spyderco dealer should either have them or be getting them very soon.

Do you remember the price range? It will be interesting to see what this knife goes for finally. If they still aren't available all over in 6 days when the auction ends it'll really be interesting to see what it sells for compared to the price once it hits the streets.

I emailed the seller on ebay asking if he has the knife now.

Howes and BHQ sold out a long time ago. KC seems to have a pre-order open. Their price jumped from $237 to $256 in a rather short amount of time. This knife is going to be a phantom soon, my recommendation- if you find the knife just buy it. I personally have given up hope. Will try my luck on the moonglow Native over at EDCF. The one on the bay will definitely go for at least $275 upto $375.

The Para 2 itself sells like it offers free sex, I can only imagine what people are willing to pay for a knife that the President and First Lady have.

I don't think so, The email I received has a screen shot of it showing it was in stock?

Well I figured it out. They received a small number in and mistakenly put them in the system, they were for some of the preorders. So no Ti Native for me! :mad:

Yup ..... the ones they got in went to fulfill pre-orders. Fortunately, one of those pre-orders was mine. Should be here Friday evening ..... after a long 15 month wait on the pre-order list!!

A few people probably ordered a few dozen each, so they
should show up on Ebay shortly at about 1.5 - 2x the price.

I found out some did order a dozen or more. However, from what I was told by one he only got one knife out of the 3 or 4 pre-orders of several knives each from different vendors. He isn't happy. But from the viewpoint of people like me it looks like the vendors are trying to spread the wealth to many instead of sending all of the few they get to one person.

Of cause I can be wrong, but I think that it is pretty limited market for this knife. As much as I love my Native5, IMHO the knife is not hot as Para or Military. There is Ti Fluted N5 on e-bay for second day @ $300 and nobody in the rush to get it. More dealers have then in stock now. So I do not think that it will be fast and easy for few people to sell a dozen (each) at 1.5 price. The knife is expensive as is. May be in a while very few will catch 1.5. I will be stunned, if I see any 2x sold. I doubt that even Ti fluted Military can do this.
